Who run the world? Amazon Prime.
Sorry Beyonce, but it’s the cold, hard truth. Amazon has made it so simple to order practically anything you need in your life at the click of a button. Plus, if you have Amazon Prime, you have the luxury of getting your package the very next day with free shipping *mind blown*.
I’m all about efficiency and prioritizing my time, especially during the holiday season. So, although I wish I could shop the “old fashioned way” as my grandparents would put it and not be such a #millennial, this is obviously ideal.
Most of the time, I’m ordering items as I they pop into my head, when I see that I’ve run out of something, a neat product or book is mentioned in a podcast, or I’m checking out an affordable fashion accessory from one of my go-to blogs.
Instead of writing it down and carving out time to go to the store after work or on my lunch break (in the freezing cold, for that matter), I just do a quick search and boom, it’s on my doorstep within 24 hours.
I know you can relate.
Although Amazon may be taking over the world one millennial at a time, I’m actually not super bummed about it. I’ve found so many organic home and beauty products, books I love, and even fashion staples on Amazon Prime over the past few months.
