Pretty Spring Hats to Hide Your Roots
Well, I don’t know about you girlfriend, but things are looking pretty bleak over here when it comes to my hair and nails.
Less than 1 week before my scheduled hair appointment, my salon closed their doors at the request of our state Governor. I wasn’t anticipating going brunette for the Spring, but it seems as though Corona had different plans for me this year. I’m sure that many of you are in the same boat.
Instead of trying my luck with a box dye, I have decided to let my natural color take over day by day. While this is happening, however, I have been appreciating my growing collection of hats more than ever.
No one said there had to be witnesses behind the hair transformation taking place, ok?
I have always loved a good wide-brim wool fedora, baseball cap, and straw sun hat. And don’t even get me started on my collection of berets; I swear I have one in every shade of the rainbow at this point.
Right now is an excellent time to embrace hats to protect against sun damage anyway, so why not use the money you are saving at your hair salon to invest in a few gorgeous pieces that you can use while hiding your roots this month? Plus, once this is all over, you’ll have some extra styling staples to match those pretty Spring and Summer outfits you’ve been saving!
