Sunday at the Apple Orchard

Now that Halloween has passed, we can now give our full attention to Thanksgiving. For me, this means family time, thicker sweaters, and apple pies. At the end of October, Jade, Missy, and I spent the day at the apple orchard in Western Maryland at Larriland Farms. None of us had ever gone apple picking before so, we decided it would be the perfect girls' trip. The air was crisp, the sun was beaming down, and the apples were ripe for picking.

We picked bags full with the intent of baking apple pies later that week, not knowing that they would be devoured almost immediately (they were SO good). I'm already planning my trip back to pick more for our Thanksgiving apple pies.

I wore my usual Sunday outfit which consists of my favorite jeans in the whole world (Joe's Jeans - which I wear at least 3 times a week), an over-sized sweater, lace up booties, and a big, floppy hat. It was the perfect outfit for running through the orchard and lying in the middle of a row taking selfies with the girls.

My favorite thing about this Fall look is decidedly my long braids. If you follow along on here or on Instagram, you know that I'm currently in the process of growing my hair out after making a huge chop a couple years back. Last month, I shared a tutorial for an easy half-up braid using my Irresistible Me extensions. I've been loving the added length and volume so much that I used them again on Sunday for traditional, loose braids (which I haven't been able to pull off since I cut my hair).

This post was done in partnership with Irresistible Me Extensions, a growing brand of 100% natural Remy clip-in extensions. All words and opinions are my own and have not been influenced throughout the creation of this post.
